Building system

SIP panel

Structural Insulated Panel: two structural boards with an insulating core between them, manufactured off-site and assembled dry.

Structural insulated panel: two boards with an insulating core
Dimensioned plan of a house rising in section, with the panel walls and roof trusses exposed

Composition

Three layers, one piece

01

Structural board

The outer face of the panel. It provides stiffness and serves as the base for the finish.

02

Insulating core

The insulation sits between the boards and is part of the panel: it is not a layer added on site.

03

Structural board

The inner face. Together with the outer face, both work as one with the core.

What it offers

Industrialized construction

The panel arrives manufactured and cut to size, which moves much of the work that used to happen on site into the shop.

Lightweight and dry-assembled

Fewer wet processes on site and a building envelope that closes in fewer steps than conventional construction.

Integrated insulation

The insulating core is part of the panel, not a layer added later.

On site

How it goes up

A project in Chile, from storage at the plant to closing in the envelope. On site it is assembled; the panel arrives already made.

The panels leave the plant already manufactured and cut to size.
Wall assembly on a construction site in Chile.
EPS sheets on site: the insulating core that goes inside the panel.
Steel trusses resting on the walls already in place.
The closed envelope, before utilities and finishes.
Openings and rooms are defined in the same assembly.

Strategic partners

Construction doesn’t wait for materials

Venergia builds with a factory behind it on both sides of the Andes: Trupanel in Chile and Arvorá Modular in Brazil. Panels are bought from the people who make them, and that is what keeps a construction schedule on track.

Panel characteristics as stated by each manufacturer.

Trupanel

Structural insulated panel factory · Camino a Quilapilún, Colina, Santiago Metropolitan Region, Chile

Direct supply

Panels are bought from the factory, with no intermediaries between the people who make them and the people who install them.

Priority on lead times

The agreement guarantees preference on delivery dates, which is what keeps a construction schedule on track.

Continuity of supply

Material secured throughout construction, without the stoppages that drive up the cost of a project.

Arvorá Modular

ARV-SIP system factory · Avenida Nelson Araujo 368, Rio Claro, São Paulo, Brazil

arvoramodular.com.br

Mineral-faced panel

An EPS, PIR, PUR or XPS insulating core between autoclaved cement boards that are water-repellent and fire-resistant.

Made to order for each project

Panels up to 3.00 × 1.20 m, cut to size, with electrical and plumbing conduits embedded at the factory.

Dry assembly

It arrives sized and is assembled without mortar. It supports two stories without additional structure and, depending on the site, a simple slab-on-grade foundation.
